American SE English was born when our founder, Jennifer Ren, began teaching English at home in Chaoyang, Beijing in 2016. Her dream was to help Chinese people develop confidence to converse with English native speakers easily and comfortably. In 2017, American SE English began offering virtual English lessons with native English instructors at an affordable price, leading Chinese clients to feel at ease about learning with quality foreign English teachers.
